General Rental Terms and Conditions

These General Rental Terms and Conditions have been prepared for customers who will benefit from car rental, motorcycle rental and ATV rental services provided by Best Motor Marmaris Car Rental and VIP Transfer Services.

Any customer who receives rental services from Best Motor is deemed to have read, understood and accepted the general rental terms and conditions stated below.

1. Scope of Rental Service

Best Motor provides car rental, motorcycle rental, ATV rental and, upon request, VIP Dalaman Airport transfer services in Marmaris and the surrounding areas.

Rental services may be provided on a daily, short-term, seasonal or special-duration basis depending on availability. The available car, motorcycle or ATV options may vary according to the reservation date and current vehicle availability.

2. Reservation Conditions

Rental requests may be received via phone, WhatsApp, website, social media or other communication channels determined by Best Motor.

To confirm a reservation, it may be necessary to collect customer information, determine the rental date, check vehicle availability and, if required, receive an advance payment or deposit.

Best Motor reserves the right to evaluate reservation requests according to high season periods, special days, public holidays or vehicle availability.

3. Required Documents for Rental

During the rental process, the following documents or information may be requested from the customer:

• Valid identity card or passport,

• Valid driving licence,

• Phone number,

• Accommodation or delivery address,

• Rental start and end date,

• Pick-up and return location,

• Payment or deposit information, if required.

The customer accepts that all information provided during the rental process is accurate and up to date.

4. Driving Licence and Age Requirement

The customer who rents a car, motorcycle or ATV must have a valid driving licence suitable for the class of vehicle to be rented.

For motorcycle and ATV rentals, the required driving licence class may vary depending on engine capacity and vehicle type. The customer declares that they have the legally required licence to use the vehicle they wish to rent.

Age requirement, licence duration and driving experience may vary depending on the type of vehicle rented. Best Motor reserves the right to reject rental requests when deemed necessary for safety and legal compliance reasons.

5. Delivery Conditions

The rented car, motorcycle or ATV is delivered to the customer on the date, time and location determined during the reservation.

During delivery, the general condition of the vehicle, fuel level, mileage, existing damages if any, and equipment are checked. The customer accepts that they have received the vehicle after inspecting it.

The customer may be held responsible for any damage or missing items noticed after delivery that were not reported during the handover.

6. Return Conditions

The rented car, motorcycle or ATV must be returned on the date, time and location stated in the agreement or reservation.

Additional charges may apply in case of late return. At the time of return, the vehicle must be returned clean, complete, suitable for use and in accordance with the condition in which it was delivered.

Additional costs arising from missing fuel, damage, lost equipment, late return or use contrary to the rental terms may be charged to the customer.

7. Usage Rules

The rented car, motorcycle or ATV must be used in accordance with the following rules:

• Traffic rules must be obeyed.

• The vehicle must only be used by the person specified during the rental process.

• The vehicle must not be used under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any substance that may reduce attention.

• The vehicle must not be used for racing, shows, speed trials, commercial transportation or illegal purposes.

• Passengers or loads exceeding the vehicle capacity must not be carried.

• Helmets and necessary safety equipment must be used for motorcycle and ATV rentals.

• The vehicle must not be taken outside the city or outside the permitted usage area without the knowledge and approval of Best Motor.

• No modification, removal, installation or intervention must be made on the vehicle.

All legal, criminal and financial responsibility arising from use contrary to these rules belongs to the customer.

8. Fuel Conditions

When the car, motorcycle or ATV is delivered, the current fuel level is communicated to the customer.

The customer is responsible for returning the vehicle with the same fuel level as received. If the vehicle is returned with missing fuel, the fuel difference and, if necessary, a service fee may be charged to the customer.

9. Accident, Damage and Breakdown Situations

In the event of an accident, damage or breakdown during the rental period, the customer must immediately contact Best Motor.

In case of an accident, the customer must notify the authorised authorities, have the necessary reports prepared and act in accordance with Best Motor’s instructions.

Responsibility arising from any action taken without notifying the authorised authorities, without preparing an official report or without informing Best Motor belongs to the customer.

All costs arising from user error, careless use, use contrary to traffic rules, driving under the influence of alcohol or intentional damage may be charged to the customer.

10. Traffic Fines and Legal Responsibilities

Traffic fines, parking fines, toll violations, speeding fines and other legal obligations occurring during the rental period belong to the customer.

The person using the vehicle during the rental period accepts all traffic and legal responsibilities. Penalties received by Best Motor after the rental period may also be charged to the customer according to the relevant usage date.

11. Payment Conditions

The rental fee is collected during reservation or vehicle delivery through the payment method determined by Best Motor.

Payment methods may include cash, credit card, bank transfer or other payment options accepted by Best Motor.

During high season, special periods or long-term rentals, an advance payment or deposit may be requested. Deposit and advance payment conditions are communicated to the customer during the reservation.

12. Cancellation and Change Conditions

The customer may request a change or cancellation of the reservation date. Change requests are evaluated according to vehicle availability.

Cancellation conditions may vary depending on the reservation date, seasonal demand, advance payment status and type of service.

For reservations where an advance payment or deposit has been received, refund conditions are applied according to the terms communicated during the reservation.

13. Safety and Equipment Use

The use of safety equipment is important for motorcycle and ATV rentals. The customer is responsible for using the safety equipment delivered to them carefully and for its intended purpose.

Costs arising from loss, breakage or damage to helmets, equipment or accessories may be charged to the customer.

14. Vehicle Usage Area

The rented car, motorcycle or ATV must be used within the usage area determined by Best Motor.

Especially in ATV and motorcycle rentals, the customer is responsible for showing the necessary care and responsibility regarding use on land, roads, beaches, forest areas, private properties or prohibited areas.

Damage, penalties or legal responsibilities arising from use in prohibited areas or on unsuitable surfaces belong to the customer.

15. Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for:

• Complying with the rental terms,

• Using the vehicle carefully and responsibly,

• Acting in accordance with traffic rules,

• Complying with delivery and return times,

• Returning the vehicle in the condition in which it was received,

• Immediately informing Best Motor in case of accident, damage or breakdown,

• Covering all penalties and legal responsibilities that may arise during the rental period.

16. Rights and Responsibilities of Best Motor

Best Motor aims to deliver the rented vehicle in suitable condition and to provide the customer with the necessary information about the rental process.

Best Motor reserves the right to reject rental requests due to safety, legal compliance, vehicle availability, accuracy of customer information or previous usage status.

Best Motor may make changes to the vehicle model, delivery time or service conditions when necessary. In such cases, the customer will be informed as much as possible.

17. Protection of Personal Data

Personal information collected during the rental process may be processed for the purpose of creating the reservation, providing the service, fulfilling legal obligations and carrying out payment and communication processes.

Best Motor protects customer information in accordance with privacy principles and does not share it with third parties in violation of the relevant legislation.

18. General Provisions

These General Rental Terms and Conditions have been prepared to determine the general terms of use for the rental services provided by Best Motor.

Best Motor reserves the right to make periodic changes to service conditions, prices, vehicle options and reservation terms.

The customer who completes the rental process declares that they have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions.
